Welcome to our new website for the Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association.  We have worked hard to create a presence that will allow industry members to stay up to date on news relevant to our industry and consumers to find information that will guide them through challenging times.

As President of our Association this coming year I look forward to working with all our members as well as state officials and community members. Our Association accomplished a great deal in its first year.  We have successfully merged the Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin state units and, in doing so, developed a model to increase our efficiency and provide better educational opportunities while maintaining local control over regulatory and legislative campaigns.  We have worked hard to put on our first Annual Conference and believe we have created a meaningful educational program and offered some great diversions for fun and to meet new friends.

During the next year we must create a strategic plan for our Association, review our bylaws, create our procedures, enhance the activities of our state legislative committees, develop a community outreach program and seek new ways to provide value to our members. These are exciting programs and will provide our members with many different opportunities to get involved.

The success of our Association will ultimately be measured by our ability to involve its members.  Moving forward I hope you will share ideas, take advantage of our educational programs and participate in a committee.  There will be opportunities to be involved on the regional or state level and we hope each of you provides fresh ideas and receives terrific value in return.

I welcome each of you to reach out to me.  Let me know your interests and how you can help our Association. If you have a special knowledge, I look forward to learning about it.  If you have a special interest, I hope I can help explore it with you.
